Pearls of Promise, led by Dr. Akia Blandon, is actively addressing period insecurity in Prampram, Ghana by placing dignity, education, and access at the center of care. Through community-based distribution of menstrual hygiene supplies, girls and women are empowered to manage their health with confidence—reducing stigma, supporting school attendance, and affirming that menstrual equity is a matter of health justice and human dignity.
